City SC Welcomes City SC Antelope Valley

Carlsbad, CA — February 20, 2026 — City SC is proud to announce the launch of its 17th club location, City SC Antelope Valley, expanding the City SC family into the Antelope Valley community in California's High Desert.

This expansion brings the City SC development model, elevated coaching standards, and structured player pathway opportunities to athletes and families throughout the region. City SC Antelope Valley will provide a clear progression for players from grassroots development to high school, collegiate, and beyond while fostering a culture rooted in excellence, character, and long-term growth.

City SC Antelope Valley will be led by Executive Director Jaime Estrada, who brings seven years of experience managing a financial center along with 12 years of military service, including seven years in leadership roles.  He combines financial expertise, operational discipline, and strategic planning to guide the club's long-term growth. He will serve alongside Sporting Director Christian "Pato" Diaz, who began his professional career at just 17 years old in Mexico's top division with Atlas Fútbol Club, where he spent years developing within one of the country's premier professional systems. Diaz later competed with Leones Negros UdeG (UDG) and in the United States in Forward Madison FC of USL League One, bringing both international and domestic professional experience that will shape the club's athletic philosophy and elevate its player development standards.

Tryouts for the 2026–27 season are now underway at Pelona Vista Park (Field 5) and will run from December 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, based on age group.
