Featured Coach: City SC Carlsbad, Louis Hunt

This month, we’re proud to feature City SC Carlsbad coach Louis Hunt and recognize his commitment to developing players both on and off the field.

Louis holds a USSF A Coaching License and has coached at City SC Carlsbad for the past 10 years. He began his City SC career with the boys’ Development Academy before transitioning to the girls’ program, where he now serves as the Girls SoCal Director.

Louis believes in creating a positive yet challenging environment for his players and understands that development requires time, patience and repetition. At the end of the 2023–24 season, he led his 2012 team to the California Cup championship, competing against and defeating some of the top 2012 teams in the state.
