2026 City SC Coach Education Day

This past weekend, City SC hosted our annual Coach Education Day — a day centered around learning, connection, and growing together as a club. Coaches from across the City SC family came together with one shared goal: becoming better for the players, families, and communities we serve every day.

Throughout the event, coaches took part in on-field sessions, leadership conversations, and tactical discussions led by experienced mentors and City SC leaders. The focus went beyond X’s and O’s — it was about how we teach, how we connect with players, and how we create an environment where young athletes can truly thrive.

One of the best parts of the day was having everyone in the same space. Coaches were able to share ideas, swap experiences, and build stronger relationships across clubs. From first-year coaches to longtime directors, there was a real sense of shared purpose and pride in what we’re building together at City SC.

We also took time to celebrate our 2025–26 City SC Coach Award recipients — coaches who are setting the standard across our clubs, both on and off the field.

Ignite a Passion Award: Recognizing coaches who create an environment where players genuinely love the game and want to play.

Community Award: Honoring those who give back and make an impact both inside the club and in their wider communities.

Legacy Award: Celebrating coaches who are building something lasting and meaningful within City SC and beyond.

Congratulations to our clubs representing excellence across all three awards: Carlsbad, San Marcos, Chula Vista, Southwest, South Bay, Flyte, and Antelope Valley. Thank you to our coaches for the passion, purpose, and commitment you bring every day.

Coach Education Day reflects our ongoing commitment to growth, education, and creating the best possible environment for our players to develop on and off the field.
